Flight Planning

Before any drone flight we undertake all the needed planning. Risk Assessments, Clearances, and site visits to ensure operations are safe and within the law.

Drone Flight

Flight day, we carry out further checks and operate to maintain safety at all times and collect all the required images or video working to the project specifications.

Deliverables

We produce the deliverables from the drone data captured on flight day, from a report to a 3D model or 360 panoramic image.

Types of services

Thermal Investigation

involve drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras to conduct assessments of temperature variations in specific areas.

These investigations are used in various fields, including building inspections, search and rescue operations, environmental monitoring, and industrial applications.

The thermal cameras can detect and visualise heat signatures, identifying anomalies, energy inefficiencies, or potential issues not visible to the naked eye.

This provides insights into structural integrity, energy performance, wildlife tracking, and public safety, offering a non-intrusive and efficient method for capturing thermal data.

Building Inspections

Use drones to assess the condition, integrity, and structural components of buildings. This innovative approach gives inspectors a bird’s-eye view, allowing them to capture high-resolution images or videos of roofs, facades, and other challenging-to-reach areas.

Drone building inspections offer several advantages, including increased safety by minimising the need for manual inspections at heights, faster data collection, and the ability to access difficult-to-reach or hazardous locations.

The collected aerial data aids inspectors in identifying potential issues, such as structural damage, leaks, or maintenance needs, contributing to more efficient and comprehensive assessments of building conditions.

360 Panoramas

Drone 360 panoramas involve the use of drones equipped with cameras to capture a series of images in a full 360-degree field of view.

These images are then stitched together using specialised software to create immersive and interactive panoramic views.

This technology provides a unique and comprehensive perspective of landscapes, cityscapes, or specific environments.

Drone 360 panoramas find applications in various industries, including real estate marketing, tourism, and virtual tours, allowing viewers to explore and experience a location from different angles.

3D Modelling

Creating three-dimensional representations of objects, landscapes, or structures using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).Drones capture high-resolution aerial images or data through various sensors, which is then processed using computer software to generate detailed 3D models.

LIDAR

or Light Detection and Ranging involves using drones to capture highly accurate and detailed topographic and terrain data.

LIDAR technology uses laser beams to measure distances and generate precise 3D maps of the landscape by recording the time it takes for the laser pulses to return after hitting objects on the ground.

This aerial mapping technique is valuable in forestry, urban planning, infrastructure monitoring, and disaster response applications, providing detailed elevation information, vegetation analysis, and structural mapping.

Photogrammetry

is a technique that utilises drones to capture a series of overlapping aerial photographs of a specific area.

These high-resolution images are then processed to create accurate, detailed, and three-dimensional models of the terrain, structures, or objects within the captured area.

By analysing the visual data and applying geometric principles, photogrammetry enables the reconstruction of the photographed subjects’ spatial dimensions and surface characteristics
